Armor of God part 7: prayer

After a year of working on my armor of God series (Ephesians 6:10-20) this is the last one. It focuses on the importance of prayer in a Christians life. As always feel free to copy and uses my letters for your kids. God bless and Merry Christmas! Be inspired!

Happy New Year!  We are going to wrap up the Armor of God  series (Ephesians 6:10-20) with talking  about prayer. Prayer is our biggest weapon against the our enemy the devil. I love how God describes our relationship in Psalms 23. He talks about how He is the good Shepherd and we are in sheep. Our relationship with God is one where we can bring any need to Him and know He will listen. The Bible also calls God our Heavenly Father (Matthew 6:26). You can trust in Him and talk to Him. As you grow in your prayer life we encourage you to bring Him not only your needs but the needs of others. Ephesians 6:18-20 Says to pray on all occasions with all kinds of prayer requests. No prayer is too small and no hardship is to difficult for Him. It also says we should pray for the lords people. Who in your life can you lift up in prayer and who needs encouragement in your life. You like Paul  (author of Ephesians) can ask  people to pray for you. Prayer is our offering of praise to God. He will never not listen and will never not be there for you. Our prayer for you is like Paul you would declare your faith fearlessly. Paul writes this book wile in jail and even though he is in physical chains His heart is set on spreading  Christs truth.  May you lean on our Savior and trust in Him with all things.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Ephesians 6:18-20
