My love for writing kids in poverty all started with a Compassion International workshop at my church. It took a while but God pulled on my heartstrings and my husband and I sponsored our first two children in 2018. We had a hard time scrolling through all of the kids. So we used my grandparents birthdays to narrow down our search. We fell in love with Joshua and Mary and are blessed to have them in our lives. Since then we also write other children who don’t receive letters. At first it was hard but many blogs inspired me with ideas and letters to uses. I am posting the spiritual part of each of my letters leaving out personal parts. I encourage you to write to your children about God and His love for them. Poor your heart into your letters and let God change the lives you write to. I want to invite you to uses my letters and ideas to motivate you to write your kids.
