The Armor of God is such a bless to us as Christians. This month I am writing about the The breast plate of righteousness. Our Lord is so amazing! Take time to poor His love into your kids this week. Here is my letter feel free to uses it to give you ideas.
You are loved! Loved by our amazing Lord and Savior. Gods love for you is as deep as the ocean and wide as the sea. He crafted you and is molding you into the person he wants you to be. You are strong because our Lord gives you strength.
I want to share with you the second part of the armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18. The breast plate of righteousness is the next piece of Gods armor.
The breastplate of righteousness refers to the righteousness purchased for us by Jesus at the cross. At salvation, a “breastplate” is issued to each repentant sinner. It is specially designed by God to protect our heart and soul from evil and deception. The breastplate of righteousness has Christ’s name stamped on it, as though He said, “Your righteousness isn’t sufficient to protect you. Wear mine.” Wearing this breastplate creates a lifestyle of putting into practice what we believe in our hearts.
As you go into this week we pray you would look to God for all your questions. He has provided you with His armor to guide you and protect you from the evil of this world. When you except Christ as your Savior His righteousness will give you greater understanding of His will for your life. We pray as your heart molds to his guiding hand that you live a life representing Christ.
