Christmas 2024

Merry early Christmas!   It’s time to do our Christmas letters to our kids my compassion friends. I love this time of year when i can share Christs love and His birth with my kids. I shared psalm 100 this year one of my favorite psalms. Enjoy and feel free to copy and use for your kiddos.  God bless and be inspired.

Merry Christmas our compassion family! As I think back upon this year I am reminded of the good times and the hard times. I thank God for both and when I do  psalm 100  comes to my mind. God is good and worthy of our joy and praise.

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

Christmas time is a time to reflect on Gods grace and salvation. This psalm talks first about worshiping with a joyful song! I think of the wisemen with this how they traveled far to see the birth of Jesus. What joy must of filled their heart when that saw the king of kings. Then it says “know the Lord is God”. Jesus is God Son in flesh and He  was born just like you and I. Yet unlike us He is  perfect in every way and never sinned. It then says “it is He who made us and we are His”. Our Heavenly Father came down to live with us so He could bridge the gap to heaven. We are His children and He loves us enough to send His son to be born, live and die for us. “Praise His name” is a wonderful way for us to give honor to the Lord of Lord and King of Kings. He who made us dwelled with us, knows us and loves us. “ for the Lord is good and is love endures forever” is how this psalm ends. As you head into the Christmas season and you think of God and his love for you remember God loves you beyond measure. He is our foundation and his love never ends.

We pray as you head into this Christmas season you look upon the birth of Christ as the biggest gift of all . He came in a little package and lived 33 years on this earth with us. He understands sin yet never sinned. He lived a life and died on the cross so you could live. Praise be to God and may you worship Him this Christmas with a joyful heart.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4

Dear heavenly father, I pray that you would guide and protect and shine your love on 😊Joshua‘s 😊family this Christmas season. May they feel love, Peace and joy this week. Help their hearts to be full and reflect you and in all they do. May they have joy this Christmas time and be reminded of how much you love them. Amen

Love Mark and Laura
