Alpha and Omega

Looking forward to the new series I’m going to start with my kids. Every couple months I’m going to write about one of Gods names. There are so many and the beauty is each one has a spiritual lesson. This month I am writing about Gods  name of Alpha and Omega. Enjoy and be inspired. As always feel free to copy and use my letters for your kids. God bless! 

I am going to start a new letter series with you guys. The topic of theses letters will be the different names of God. It’s seams fitting to start with Gods name of Alpha and Omega. 

Alpha was the first letter of the ancient Greek alphabet, and Omega was the last letter. Jesus says, “I am the ‘A to Z,’ the Beginning and the End.” There is never an end to Gods love, compassion or mercy. He never changes and will never fail you. Jesus knows everything about you from the day you are born till He calls you home to heaven. He has a plan for you! Our lives are not given over to blind fate, to random things or to endless cycles with no decision. Instead, Jesus Christ who is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End directs all of human history and even our individual lives. As you go into this week we pray you will look to the path the Lord gives you. Your personal relationship with Jesus is so important to your growth in your faith. Remember who your foundation is and the strength of His name.  He is your guiding light who never changes your Alpha and Omega. 

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelations 1:8 

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Revelations 22:13
