Gods love

 Happy New Year! I wanted to share with my kids this month about the depth of Gods love for the them. One of my favorite worship songs describes His love for us so perfectly. So I based my letter off of the song How Deep The Fathers Love For Us. As you head into the New Year I pray you also feel Gods love and grace for you. Feel free to copy my letter for your kids. Be inspired to fill their hearts with love and hope. God Bless!


Happy New Year! We have been praying for you my dear friend! You are like family and we love you!  You are Gods beloved child and His love for you is as wide as the ocean. I have been thinking of the depth of Gods love for us. You can depend on Him and trust in Him for all your needs.  Sometimes I find I have difficulty trusting in God with hard things. But theses bible verses below help me remember that Christs love and sacrifice is all we need. As you head into the new year we pray you put the small and big things into your creators hands. For nothing separate you from the love of Christ. I want to share with you one of my favorite worship songs How Deep the Father's Love for Us. As you read it’s words we pray you feel the freedom you have in Christs forgiveness. May you remember the depth of Christ love this week and have peace in the fact you are not alone. And if you drift from God remember he forgives you and is calling you back to His love. His wounds have paid your ransom. 


And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how WIDE  and LONG and HIGH and DEEP is the love of Christ

How Deep the Father's Love for Us

How deep the Father’s love for us,

How vast beyond all measure,

That He should give His only Son

To make a wretch His treasure.

How great the pain of searing loss –

The Father turns His face away,

As wounds which mar the Chosen One

Bring many sons to glory.

Behold the man upon a cross,

My sin upon His shoulders;

Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice

Call out among the scoffers.

It was my sin that held Him there

Until it was accomplished;

His dying breath has brought me life –

I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything,

No gifts, no power, no wisdom;

But I will boast in Jesus Christ,

His death and resurrection.

Why should I gain from His reward?

I cannot give an answer;

But this I know with all my heart –

His wounds have paid my ransom.
