Hello from Wisconsin, my friends. Today is a rainy day and the grass is starting to turn green. Spring is on its way here in Wisconsin. I am looking forward to the flowers and The birds that are going to be migrating back. As I reflect on Gods beautiful creation I think of another name we call Him. I want to continue on our series on the names of God. The name I want to reflect on is Gods name of Yahweh. When I think of God’s name of Yahweh, the thing that comes to mind is how He calls Himself “The Great I Am”. What a powerful statement in exodus 3:14 when God tells Moses tell them the “I am” sent you. The name Yahweh means the Lord.
Yahweh, is one of authority. It is one that holds great power, and says to all who hear, “I AM the One, true God, follow me.” God is still the “Great I AM,” for He never changes.
We can trust in the God who created all things and loves us so much He sent His son to die for us so we may live. Yahweh is the Lord of Lords, King of Kings and Prince of peace. When life is good He is God. When life is hard He is God. God is never changing and He is our Lord and we can call Him father and Yahweh with confidence that He hears us and loves us. Praying you trust in the Great I Am this week. Praying you Give all of your life over to God who created all things. For you are precious in His sight and He loves you! What a blessing that the Lord of Lords, the Great I Am, yahweh loves us and will always be there for us. The foundation He lays will never change or be shaken. Keep your eyes on the God who gives us all we need or could ask for.
