Happy day my friend. I love when I get to sit down and write you a letter. It is one of my favorite things to do. You are so very special to us and we are blessed to have you in our lives. I wanted to share with you what has been on my heart lately. It’s been very cold out and snowy out here in Wisconsin. As I watch the snow flakes fall today I reflect on how God made them special. There is not one a like and each one has is own unique design.  Each snowflake has six sides but its shape and size depend on how many ice crystals connect together. On average a snow flake has about 200 ice crystals joined together. Snow is a type of precipitation like rain and sleet and It has to be at least 32° to form snow. Mark and I live in an area of the world where snow is very common in the winter time. Thundersnow is when it snows while there is thunder and lightning. It does not happen often but when it thunders during a snow storm it is breathtaking. Sometimes we get so much snow in Wisconsin we have to shovel off our roofs. I imagine it would be hard it image snow if you have never seen it. Sending you photos of a recent snowstorm in Wisconsin.  It looked so beautiful on our trees and covered most of our area with a brilliant white beauty.

I was thinking today on how special you are and how much God loves you. It made me reflect on your individuality. Just like snow each person is unique and hand crafted by God. We have common things like eyes, noses and hands but each of us look different. God created you with a special love and He knows each one of us by name. Just like there are billions of snowflakes in a storm God created each one of you as an individual. Billions of people live on this planet and each of us are shaped and molded by our creator. As you head into this week remember God knew you before the creation of the world. He knows your past, present and future. His love for you is deeper than the ocean and wider than the sea.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16

We love you and are praying for you daily.
