God bless my friend. We wanted to write to you about fear today. Our Lord describes His path to fight fear and the devil in many places in the Bible. I want to focus on a few verses through out the book of Isaiah. We as Christian’s go through seasons in our faith. I like the Comparison to mountains and valleys. Sometimes in our faith we’re on the mountain top. Very strong in the lord and not having any struggles at all with depending on him. Then there are the valleys of our faith when we struggle with doubt, fear and possibly depression. No matter what season you are in with your walk with God His love never changes for you. I wanted to talk about the valleys today the times in our life when we struggle. Fear is a tool The devil uses to trick us from trusting in the Lord. I want to encourage you to look to the Bible and the truth when the devil tries to confuse you. Isaiah 41:10 talks about how Gods righteous hand upholds you in the time of fear. I love the description of our mighty Lord upholding us and fighting our battles. He says “ do not fear for I am with you“! What powerful words to lean on when we feel lost. I also love the Bible verse in Isaiah 40:31 it talks about the strength that God can give you when you are weary. So as you head into this week We pray that you would reflect on these two Bible verses. And if you are in a season of sorrow that you would lean on the Lord Almighty God to uphold you and give you strength. If you are in a season of joy we pray you also would look to the Lord and praise him for his goodness. Praise be to God he is always faithful.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
