This month I am writing part 5 of the armor of God. The helmet of salvation is what this letter is about. I wrote to our kids about protecting our minds and our hearts. I feel so blessed that we are able to have a relationship with our kids. Praying as you write your letters that you have inspiration and trust God for the words. We want to write to you about the next part of the armor of God today. The helmet of salvation is a very important part of our armor we put on. Protecting our mind against the enemy and clothing our mind with salvation is one of our strongest weapons we have. One of the places satan is going to attack is our mind. He is going to want us to doubt Gods truths and His love for us. We want to encourage you to read the bible and go to church. Keeping your thoughts on Godly things will help you stay focused. The devil is smart and he will try to trick you. But our helmet God provides us with is a strong defense. Keep trusting in our Savior. When in doubt pray and ask for Gods wisdom and guidance. Notice how the Bible verses says “take” the helmet of salvation. It is something you have to accept. Salvation is our foundation, our hope and our promise. Keep your eyes focused on Christ this week Looking to Him for wisdom and protection. We know you are in Gods hands and he will guide you when you trust in Him.
